Mental Health Awareness In The Church
Mental health conversations and stories from a faith-based perspective.

About Hope for the Agora
Hope for the Agora is a podcast about mental and emotional health from a faith-based perspective. It is a conversation space rooted in one simple conviction: hope belongs in the middle of real life.

The word agora comes from the ancient marketplace—a place where people gathered, exchanged ideas, wrestled with questions, and lived out their everyday lives. That’s where this podcast lives too—not in the abstract, but right in the middle of the conversations we’re already having.

Through honest dialogue, personal stories, and conversations with mental health professionals, leaders, and everyday people, Hope for the Agora explores the intersection of faith, emotional health, and lived experience. We talk about what it means to follow Jesus in a complex world—especially in the places where life feels messy, uncertain, or overwhelming.

This podcast is an extension of the heart behind Agora Network Ministries—to create spaces where people can engage deeply, grow spiritually, and encounter hope that is both authentic and transformative as they journey in their mental wellness. Agora Network Ministries educates, equips and resources the Church to remove the stigma of mental health and support those around them who are struggling.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, wrestling with identity, working through past wounds, or simply trying to live faithfully in your everyday world, this is a place for you.
No clichés. No pretending. Just real conversations and real hope.
